Barry M Nails Review! xo

I just want to add that some of these are older so that may impact the quality, enjoy!
I have added the links to the polishes above the images of them! Unfortunately some of the colours are no longer available!
Today I thought I’d review some Barry M nails varnishes of mine, I have a large selection of nail varnishes tbf, but most of them are Barry M.
The first one I tried was Barry M Magnetic. Basically a nail varnish with flecks in and a magnet on top of the nail varnish lid is then used to bring out the pattern!
IMG_9913  As you can see, the pattern is so pretty! Not to mention that I only used one coat. It’s pretty easy to use, the only downside is that you have to do it straight after you’ve painted the nail, so the paint is still wet. It’s worth it though.
Name: Magnetic Burgundy 327                             Coats needed? 1 (2 if wanted)                             Colour: Lovely, 5 stars!                                                 Easy to get off? Unfortunately no                         Paints on easy? Very easy!
The second one was part of the ‘Aquarium Collection’. As you can see it’s very light and hard to get a good colour of it! It really went down in my expectations! I had to use 2 coats, and even after 2 it still looked slightly awful. Yes, it was a present, as I’d never wear something like this, but it is so thin and has no hold to it.
IMG_9923 As you can see, it’s very light and not too much of a strong colour. Barry M definitely didn’t do too well on this one. If you’re into light and glittery colours which show your nail then this is good for you!
Name: Mediterranean AONK4                            Coats needed? 2 (probably more really!)               Colour: Bleh, 1 star.                                                     Easy to get off? No! Glitter is a nightmare       Paints on easy? Quite.
Next, I tried my ‘Gelly High Shine’ (which I have a few of) although this colour I used was beautiful. My friend told me once that I’d suit it and I believe her after trying this, which I’ve had for a while, but only used one!
It’s perfect and only takes 1 coat to achieve a desired colour and a shine. I’ll let the picture do the talking.

Isn’t it just perfect?! I absolutely adore it and think the colour is perfect for summer! It feels lovely on your nails and comes off so easily.
Name: Mustard GNP31                                       Coats needed? 1 (2 if you want it to last long)                                               Colour: Sooooo pretty! All the stars.                               Easy to get off? Very very, just wipes off.       Paints on easy? Really easy and slick.
Fourth, a different nail varnish which is beautiful. Definitely stands out and would be good for fancy dress parties!
This one goes on easy, only needs around 1/2 coats and is a beautiful colour.
It’s also very hard to find good metallic nail varnishes but this one is unique and so pretty! Admittedly, it’s old so I don’t know whether they’ll have it in still!
IMG_9927This a limited edition effects nail varnish. In the photo I’ve used 1 coat so 2 coats would do the trick to add more colour to it! The violet colour looks great and it is so easy to get off.
Name: Lilac Foil 142                                                    Coats needed? 1/2                                                Colour: Really, really nice.                                        Easy to get off? Yess                                                   Paints on easy? Yep!
My final colour is quite new and I think I’ve tried it once. Unfortunately this seems just as bad as the aquarium colour. It’s unfortunately very glittery and doesn’t have much substance to it.
However, if you like these kind of polishes then this is for you!
IMG_9928 As you can see, the colour is quite questionable and you can see the nail below the polish. I did use 2 coats, so it’s disappointing that it doesn’t quite achieve the colour I wished it would!
Name: Teal 334                                                         Coats needed? More than 2!                                               Colour: Nice yet disappointing                              Easy to get off? Yeah, a plus!                            Paints on easy? Actually yes!
Hope you enjoyed a look into my Barry M polishes and tune in for more reviews in the future.

LUSH REVIEW- BIG BLUE (BATH BOMB)

The Big Blue bath bomb looks interesting from the outside. It smells like the sea and looks like a bath bomb made from the ocean.
Lush describes it: ‘This calming bath bomb evokes a summer’s day at the seaside: perfect for drifting off. Big Blue’s key ingredient is a type of kelp called arame seaweed, which softens in your hot bath water. Arame is rich in vitamins and minerals including iodine, which helps to regulate the metabolism. Sea salt softens the skin, helping to remove dead skin cells, while lemon oil clears the mind and, like lavender oil, is antiseptic and cleansing.’
The staff at Lush told me it was good for joint aches as it helps the blood circulation so I decided to give it a try.

As you can see, the bath turns a lovely shade of blue, just like the ocean and it has seaweed inside it. The seaweed gives a great feeling and the salt creates the feeling that you are definitely in the ocean.
I would suggest this bath bomb as it smells lovely and is great for the days you have sore joints and aches!
It looks great and smells great :)
Just pop it in the bath and watch it fizz into colours of blue and white!
